2021 - The Conflict that Creates
|
The fourth book from poet, Antony V. Plocido (or Tony if you know him). This book is being released by Luchador Press out of Kansas City. Coming off his last book, Felt this so Many Times, Tony was trying to make a book that returned to his performance roots without necessarily being loud about it.
The book has the poems arranged alphabetically. The order not being what he wanted you to pay attention to. There are also little messages that go with each poem at the bottom. This book covers love, lost love, trying to understand people, and lastly trying to understand his role in society. Tony Plocido has been host/curator of Poets & Pints since 2019. This poetry showcase, based out of the Twin Cities in MN, has been going on since 2015. Find Poets & Pints on FB or on YouTube. |
2018 - Felt This So Many Times (Released 2018)
|
"Tony Plocido's poems in FELT THIS SO MANY TIMES are a catalogue of the hurt and desire that are the earmarks of his ragged generation. Overlook his collection and you overlook an important, emotionally attuned, powerful emerging voice."
